Spring Pre-Wedding Editorial in Central Park, Among the Cherry Blossom Trees
As we near spring and the weather gets warmer, I can’t help but dream of the bursts of florals and blue skies for months to come. The peak bloom for cherry blossoms in DC is predicted around March 29th to April 1st this year (2026). That means shortly after, it’ll be New York’s turn to get excited for the fluffy flowers of pinks and whites.
Such a short window for the trees to be in full bloom - anywhere from a week to two weeks, weather dependent. While we can only hope and pray that Mother Nature is cooperative this year, here are some photos during an engagement editorial in Central Park, featuring a floral Monique Lhuillier two piece and an even more stunning couple.
At Cherry Hill, we started by the winding path where the cherry blossoms framed the El Dorado/San Remo buildings just right.
We slowly made out way to the lawn nearby, with clearer views of the water and the horizon. The day started out cloudy but the sky started to clear up a bit, adding a little more light.
Placing the couple in between the blooms, the sun starting peeking through and provided the most magical close up!
Finally, we ended with some glamour shots.
Of course, I didn’t miss capturing another moment as he tenderly watched from the side…
Keep in mind, the trees are only in full bloom for a short time; don’t miss out on an opportunity to take some beautiful portraits of your own this year!
